Arizona State University has redshirted their entire swim program in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, which SI senior writer Pat Forde believes could be the start of a trend across the NCAA. By redshirting the entire program Coach Bob Bowman has pulled the teams from competition this coming season effectively banking on the 2020-2021 season being canceled or severely limited. ASU swim and dive will return in the 2021-2022 season. Pat Forde shares his thoughts on the move by ASU.
