RAMA, Ontario – The Casino Rama Entertainment Centre has once again been transformed by ice technician Hans Wuthrich into a top notch curling venue. The single sheet of ice was given a light workout this afternoon when all four of the participating teams had a chance to practice.

First on the ice was Team David Murdoch, the defending Skins Champion. He is currently absent from the photo gallery as I missed their practice due to treacherous driving conditions. Note: Use caution if you are travelling between Barrie and Orillia tonight.

Next up was Team Cheryl Bernard, Olympic Silver medalist. It is their first time participating at this event and only the second time a womens team has competed at this skins game. They are sporting a sharp new look this season with their new uniform colours and team sponsors.

Third to practice was Team Kevin Koe, the current World Champion. Kevin and his team arrived late last night from out west. It is Kevin's first time at this event.

The fourth and final practice was with Team Kevin Martin, Olympic Gold medalist. Kevin is a veteran at this event and looked quite relaxed on the ice.

Overall, it looks like a fun weekend of curling in store. The Curling News will be blogging all of the games live from Casino Rama, so stay tuned folks!
