A skier has posted footage of surviving an avalanche, and it is just as frightening as you would expect.

While skiing in the Slack Country at the Revelstoke Mountain Resort in British Columbia, Canada, Zach Birnie recorded every skier’s worst nightmare.

His run down the mountain starts off smoothly before he realizes he is in serious trouble. Amazingly, he emerges from the snow after being carried down the mountain.
