Manny Ramirez, the 40-year-old clean-up hitter on a $25,000-a-month contract with the EDA Rhinos of the Chinese Professional Baseball League, made his Taiwanese major league debut last night, going 2-for-3 as the Rhinos lost 9-8 to the visiting Brother Elephants.

It was a complete circus.
