Game 1 Heroes

The Red Sox dominated the Cardinals in Game 1 of the World Series, jumping out to a 5-0 lead on their way to a 8-1 victory. There were many heroes for Boston: Starting pitcher Jon Lester struck out eight and only gave up five hits (which caused some fans to accuse him of cheating). David Ortiz and Mike Napoli each drove in three runs. But the three MVPs of the night didn't even play in the game. The first is retired Marine Dan Clark, whose rendition of God Bless America caused goosebumps all over Fenway. The second is this amazing fan who poured soda all over himself during a John Kruk segment on ESPN. The third is Kevin Millar, for no other reason than his awesome red shirt and the look he gives Ortiz in the above photo.

The Rams called Brett Favre to see if he had any interest in coming out of retirement.
