Minnesota Timberwolves v New York Knicks

New York Knicks owner James Dolan has long been known as prone to outbursts, and boy did he have one after the team's shaky 1-2 start. In the New York Daily News, Frank Isola reports that Dolan threw a fit on Sunday while the Knicks were getting blown out by Minnesota, undressing new GM Steve Mills and exerting his wrath on the Knicks City Dancers:

Dolan has become such a hands-on owner — figuratively speaking — that, according to a source, he doesn’t want the dancers dancing. Crazy, right? The same guy who wanted creative input on the dancers’ outfits (and he’s good at it) apparently ordered that the girls’ roles be reduced to mostly throwing T-shirts into the crowd. They performed maybe one routine on Sunday.

While it is of course absurd that Dolan would so restrict his best-performing employees, one must never underestimate the goodwill engendered by free t-shirts.
