The above shots were captured by professional photographer Kyle Grantham, who described Sunday's Lions-Eagles game as both the "hardest" and "most fun" time he's ever had working a football game. Writing at the Wilmington News Journal's First State Focus page, Grantham gives a glimpse into the challenging process of emerging from the whiteout with pictures of the players, and not just the snow.

"As far as I can compare it to anything, it’s like taking power steering out of your car, or trying to fly the space shuttle without autopilot," he noted of manually focusing his 400mm lens. "But, I tried it anyway. If you don’t dare to fail you’ll never succeed."

The thorough description and additional photos are well-worth checking out.
