J.J. Watt's Mom Wants Him to Get Plastic Surgery

Seeing J.J. Watt's face covered with blood has become a familiar sight to NFL fans this season, after he busted upon his nose in Week 4 and continued to re-open it throughout the season, but that is likely coming to an end. According to the Associated Press, Watt is considering getting plastic surgery to fix his nose, a procedure his mother has been urging him to undergo ("She hates it," said Watt, in reference to his repeatedly bloodied nose).

According to the report:

Watt said he got it stitched back up in the two games after the initial injury. But that didn't stop it from breaking open and bleeding every time he played, so he finally gave up and stopped having it repaired game after game.

Watt says he plans to let the injury have some time to heal in the off-season, but noted that if there is still swelling he will likely go under the knife to prevent future bloodshed.
