19th Annual Critics' Choice Movie Awards - Arrivals

Just a week after the 30 for 30 doc Judging Jewell, about Atlanta Olympics security guard Richard Jewell, Fox has officially acquired the rights to the original story for development into a movie starring Jonah Hill and Leonardo DiCaprio.

Hill will play the title role of Richard Jewell, a security guard who discovered a suspicious backpack at the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta and cleared bystanders out of the way before it exploded. Jewell was initially praised for his heroism, but it was not long before he became a potential suspect and the media turned his life upside-down.  DiCaprio, who is also producing the film, will play the lawyer who advised Jewell through the bizarre series of events following the 1996 attack.
