Dutch Speedskating Coach Goes on Rant About American Football

Dutch speedskating coach Jillert Anema gave an amazing interview to CNBC today featuring one of the best rants ever. When Anema was asked whether he thought the Americans' suits were partially to blame for their loss this year,  he launched into an incredible tirade about... well, just about everything.  Joe Kernen egged him on about sports, entertainment, and Euro-envy, which somehow morphed into talking about how much Dutch companies are worth...?  I don't know, you'll have to watch the interview to see the full arc.

During the part of the interview when Anema and Joe Kernan managed to stay on-topic, Anema said:

You have a lot of attention on a foolish sport like American football and you waste a lot of talent, athletic talent, on a sport that is meant to kill each other, to injure each other. ... You're so narrow-minded, and then you want to compete against the world [in other sports] when you waste a lot of time, good talent on a sport that sucks.

He also said other cool stuff like:

You can't stand losing, you must be an American, man!

and:

You're just envious, man, for our medals!

In response to the original question -- did he think that the American's suits were partially to blame for their loss -- Anema responded, "We have found something that makes the suit very fast. It's the man in the suit."

Then he walked away like this:
