The Red Sox will visit the White House next week to celebrate their World Series championship and they plan to look good for the trip. Jonny Gomes has ordered red, white and blue blazers for the team and plans to give one to President Obama. The White House trip remains one of the best traditions in sports. Here's a look back at some of the most memorable visits.

The Knuckleball Princess

Meet Chelsea Baker, a high school pitcher from Plant City, Fla., who has compiled a 2-0 record and 0.78 ERA on the young season. Baker, the only female on her high school team, has been dubbed "the Knuckleball Princess" in Japan and was taught the pitch by Joe Niekro and Tim Wakefield.

Jessica Perez is a two-time SI Swimsuit model and friend of Hot Clicks, so when I found out she was playing the role of "stoner hot girl in undies" for the new movie A Birder's Guide to Everything, I had to reach out for a quick Q&A.

You just made your big screen debut in A Birders Guide to Everything playing "a stoner hot girl in undies." Did you have to audition? Is that how they described the role?

I auditioned with Avy Kaufman once, and then again with both Avy and the director, Rob Meyer. I did the first audition, and then Rob asked me if I could look 'more tired and groggy' the second time around. He laughed out loud when I said my lines, so I knew I had done well. Rob didn't describe my role as 'stoner girl in her undies,' but  did say that he had co-written the script and had imagined this to be the 'hot girl' of every teenager's dreams; the girl that every teenager fantasizes about. I felt pretty honored that he felt I fit the description for that. Haha!

How did your SI Swimsuit experience (posing half-naked) prepare you to walk around in your underwear in front of the entire crew?

I was really happy that I had experience walking around in tiny bikinis prior to shooting because it gave me the confidence to be able to be in my underwear in front of a lot of strangers and feel comfortable with it. What was really different was the part where I had to be in my undies in front of a few teenage boys; I didn't have a lot of experience with that! I could tell I made the guys nervous and excited at the same time.

What else are you doing right now? Are you still modeling or trying the acting thing?

I'm definitely still modeling and also going out for auditions in TV and film. I feel like I still have a lot to learn in terms of acting so I am dedicating more of my time to it. Getting better at acting is also helping me become a better model so they seem to be complementing each other quite nicely.

If you could be in a movie with any actor or actress right now, who would it be?

I would choose Michelle Pfeiffer, because she's a great actress and I've gotten told I look like her so many times throughout my life that I would like to see if there's really a resemblance in real life!

Ten Years Ago in SI

LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony :: John Biever/SI

Ten years ago this week, SI's Ian Thomsen profiled rookies LeBron James and Carmelo Anthonyand what makes them so special:

"James has turned out to be a better scorer than anyone imagined, averaging 20.7 points through Sunday toAnthony's 20.3, while contributing 5.8 rebounds and 5.6 assists. (Only Oscar Robertson and Michael Jordan racked up 20 points, five boards and five assists as rookies.) While Anthony is not James's equal as a passer, handing out only 2.7 assists per game, he is snatching more rebounds (6.2) while playing 3.7 fewer minutes. He is also shooting a better percentage (42.6 to 41.4), his accuracy having improved each month: Despite more frequent double teams, it reached 49.2% in February. From three-point range Carmelo also holds the edge, 33.3% to LeBron's 28.6%. "They [often] end up with similar stat lines," says Vandeweghe, "but they're two very different players."

It is easy to envision what the 6'8", 240-pound James might become five years from now: a playmaker like Magicbut with more athleticism and scoring ability. It's harder to pigeonhole the 6'8", 230-pound Anthony. Months of training with Nuggets assistant Adrian Dantley have helped add numerous wrinkles to Anthony's already mature post-up game. His explosive first step allows him to beat almost anyone off the dribble, and thanks to one of the quickest second jumps in the league, he has made scores of putbacks. In the paint he seeks out contact; at week's end he had gone to the line more often than all but 11 players."
