Pirates new reliever John Axford introduces himself to Pittsburgh fans in full pirate costume

The Pittsburgh Pirates claimed reliever John Axford off waivers from the Cleveland Indians, and Axford responded with a hilarious tweet introducing himself to Pirates fans.

There is only a month and a half left in the 2014 MLB season, but it looks like Pirates fans will grow to love Axford pretty quickly.
The 31-year old righty also gave a heartfelt goodbye to Cleveland despite just joining the team this year.
