White Sox announcer gives the blandest home run call possible

Wednesday September 3rd, 2014

New Zealand's 'Haka Dance' confuses Team USA at FIBA World Cup

Generally an extra-innings home run is met with excitement from the team's announcing crew, but Chicago White Sox broadcaster Steve Stone decided to go with the least animated call possible.

Stone originally misread the Tyler Flowers-struck ball as foul, but when it slipped inside the foul pole for a home run he was pretty non-plussed about the whole thing.

Dwyane Wade used a Joakim Noah barb as a theme for his wedding

It is late in the season, but you would like to think an announcer could muster a little more enthusiasm.
