Evander Holyfield's son scored seven touchdowns in a high school game

Thursday September 4th, 2014

Evander Holyfield is mostly known for being That Guy Who Got Bitten By Mike Tyson, but he was actually quite the accomplished athlete, winning four heavyweight titles.

Elijah Holyfield, a running back for Woodward Academy in Georgia, is doing his best not be known as The Guy Whose Father Got Bitten By Mike Tyson. In his first game of the season, the junior scored seven touchdowns. Seven!

According to The Atlanta Journal Constitution, Holyfield ran the opening kickoff back 84 yards for a touchdown and later scored six times on the ground. His team won, 45-13.

Holyfield has 15 scholarship offers, according to Rivals, and still has two more seasons of high school ball to play. He shouldn't have much trouble escaping his father's shadow if he keeps scoring in bunches.
