FSU backup QB's parents gave away their tickets because they didn't think he'd play

It seemed reasonable for Florida State backup quarterback Sean Maguire's parents to think he wouldn't play this weekend against Clemson. Their son, after all, is backing up reigning Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Jameis Winston.
So, according toThe Tallahassee Democrat's Natalie Pierre, Maguire's parents gave away their tickets to the game.
But everything changed Wednesday when Florida State suspended Winston for a half against Clemson, because of what the university said were "vulgar and offensive" remarks Winston yelled in public.
Despite the rapidly changing situation, it looks like Maguire's parents are out of luck. Pierre subsequently reported that his parents "won't be there," after a Twitter user asked if they were able to acquire new tickets.

Nope. Won't be there. “@TJ_Pittinger: @Natalie_Pierre surely they got some new ones?”
