Kansas City church gives Billy Butler dispensation for stealing
On the Kansas City Royals way to winning their first playoff series since the 1985 World Series, slow-footed designated hitter Billy Butler managed to grab just the sixth stolen base of his eight-year MLB career. He did so against the Los Angeles Angels.

On the Kansas City Royals way to winning their first playoff series since 1985, slow-footed designated hitter Billy Butler managed to grab just the sixth stolen base of his eight-year MLB career.
Many people noted the rarity of the event, which came against the Los Angeles Angels, and a Kansas City church posted a special message on its marquee, letting everyone know Butler had a special dispensation from the seventh commandment.

The Royals will continue their postseason run with Game 1 of the ALCS against the Baltimore Orioles on Friday night.
