Zach Mettenberger got a haircut to prepare for his first start

Titans rookie Zach Mettenberger has risen to internet stardom this week, not because he was named the team's starting quarterback, but because of his awesome hair and mustache combo. 

So when Mettenberger sent this tweet on Friday, it must have terrified people from coast to coast. 

The glass is half-full, though. Mettenberger did shear off his hair, but kept his sweet mustache.

Mettenberger's grooming choices come as a shock, considering he tweeted Thursday that his hair was "feathered and lethal for Sunday's game."

Perhaps it's for the best, though. That's one less thing for J.J. Watt to grab a hold of on Sunday.
