Much to discuss after a 14-hour day of football. If you missed it, SI has a superlative-heavy recap of all the action ... The Bucs cheerleading deserves a raise for trying to distract the Vikings with this late-game performance ... The Falcons nightmare season continued as the refs blew a delay of game call that cost them a win ... Sammy Watkins made the boneheaded play of the day with this premature touchdown celebration ... Speaking of celebrations, J.J. Wattand Jaguars defenders Ryan Davis and J.T. Thomas III took faux-selfies while Bears defensive end Lamarr Houston injured himself during his post-sack dance ... Two Eagles combined to make the hit of the day (on each other) while Jeremy Maclin almost got taken out by a Gatorade table ... Steve Smith Sr. saw his game-winning touchdown called back on offensive interference ... the Spanish announcing team got really into Kelvin Benjamin's deep catch in traffic ...Rob Gronkowski proved that he is 100 percent back as the Pats (much to the satisfaction of Gisele) beat up the Bears.

College Football Roundup

As always, check out Martin Rickman's Between the Hashes and Andy Staples' Punt, Pass and Pork to catch up on everything college football. By far, my favorite thing about Saturday was this touchdown pass thrown by 350-pound Arkansas offensive lineman Sebastian Tretola. I also like how TCU ran out of fireworks because it scored so much and LSU back Leonard Fournette getting his facemask ripped off, which I'd never seen until Saturday.

World Series Roundup

The Giants took a 3-2 series lead with a 5-0 victory over the Royals. Madison Bumgarner continues to look like the greatest pitcher on earth after hurling a complete game four-hitter. The game got off to an inauspicious start when former Staind singer Aaron Lewis botched the National Anthem. Sad news broke when word circulated about the death of Oscar Taveras. The 22-year-old Cardinals outfielder died in a car accident while driving in the Dominican Republic with his girlfriend. Meanwhile, Barry Bonds continued his "I'm not a jerk anymore" tour by attending the game and tweeting out photos of himself with Spike Lee, Juan Marichal. Steve Perry, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian.

Lovely Lady of the Day

Nikki Leigh brought the cleavage to Playboy's annual Halloween party on Saturday. I think that merits LLOD honors (click here for full-size gallery).

Randall Cobb Gets Lucky

Packers receiver Randall Cobb scored again last night and is tied for the NFL lead with nine touchdown receptions. His biggest score came over the weekend, however, when he officially became a spokesman for Clorox. The endorsement happened because a fan accidentally spilled ketchup on him during a celebratory Lambeau Leap last weekend. Does the fan get a cut of the action?

J.T. Snow helps avoid disaster as he drags 3-year-old Darren Baker out of harm's way during Game 5 of the 2002 World Series. Baker, the son of Giants manager Dusty Baker, was serving as batboy but didn't realize the play wasn't over. Snow and a grown-up Baker reunited on Sunday before Game 5 at AT&T Park.

Odds & Ends

The one Michigan fan who wants the team to keep Brady Hoke as coach flew a banner over Spartan Stadium on Saturday ... Islanders prospect Josh Ho Sang celebrated a goal with The Bernie Dance ... The Sixers newest acquisition, Marquis Teague, has the worst player efficiency rating of all time ... The Red Sox are already looking to trade Yoenis Cespedes because the coaches hate him so much ... Cam Neely will reprise his role as Sea Bass in the Dumb and Dumber sequel ... Colts players went on Twitter after losing to Pittsburgh and assured fans things will get better ... Great profile of Spurs coach Gregg Popovich ... Boy George is looking quite different than his Culture Club days ... A history of failed celebrity talk show hosts ... A handwritten letter by John Lennonasking a radio host to listen to Yoko Ono's music sold for $28,000 at auction.

SIx-Pack of Highlights

The best sports highlights from a busy Sunday.

John Daly Channels Bob Dylan

The controversial golfer sings Knockin' on Heaven's Door while attending the World Celebrity Pro-Am at China’s Hainan Mission Hills.

Super Mario Would be Proud

Mississippi State's Josh Robinson had one of the best runs of the season. And since it's 2014, someone gave it the Super Mario Brothers treatment.

Music Video of the Day

Chris Cornell and Eddie Vedder performed Hunger Strike together at the Neil Young Bridge School Benefit over the weekend. It marked only their fourth performance together since 1991. (H/T Consequence of Sound)
