Who will save the children from hockey fights? These two parents
When Brenden Dillon of the Dallas Stars and Kyle Chipchura of the Arizona Coyotes decided to mark Veterans Day with a good old-fashioned battle of fisticuffs, not everyone in the arena was amused.
One set of parents who had their little girl at the game resorted to covering her eyes when the action came over by the glass in front of them.
You can see the parental double-eye-mask maneuver at the 25-second mark of the video.
Of course, both parents seemed to be enjoying the festivities just fine, as evidenced by Mom’s broad smile.
When the battling pair was separated by the linesmen, the parents let the girl see what was happening again.
One question, though—did Mommy or Daddy at least offer to clean the palm prints off the poor kid’s specs?
