Chase Utley surprises cancer patient on Ellen

Ellen DeGeneres had cancer survivor Julie Kramer appear on her show on Monday and the talk show host arranged for Kramer to have a surprise meet up with her favorite baseball player, Chase Utley.

Ellen DeGeneres had cancer patient Julie Kramer appear on her show on Monday and the talk show host arranged for Kramer to be surprised by her favorite baseball player Chase Utley.

In addition to surprising Kramer, the Phillies second baseman brought a box load of Phillies merchandise and an invitation for Kramer to come to batting practice and meet the team, and to stop by as many games as she would like.

Ellen also presented the 23-year-old with a check for $10,000 to help with the costs of her fight with synovial sarcoma.
