It was a big night for The Colbert Report last night. Not only did the final episode air on Comedy Central, marking the end of the show's nine-year run, but also Mark Cuban finalized the Rajon Rondo trade from the show's green room. The finale saw an insane amount of special guests and I was genuinely sad to see it come to an end, although I'm excited to see how Stephen Colbert does as host of the Late Show when he replaces David Letterman next year. To celebrate new beginnings for Colbert, we're revisiting the time he earned a spot on the SI cover for saving the 2010 Winter Olympics. While you're at it, this hilarious supercut of Colbert breaking character is a great way to kill some time on a Friday.

Put On Your Oven Mitts Before Touching This Hot Take

A producer for Comcast SportsNet seems to think that Johnny Manziel and Jimmy Clausen stink at quarterback because their names are immature. Oh the things Johnny Unitas could have accomplished if he had gone by John...

Claude Giroux: NHL's Weirdest Troll

Just a few days after rubbing his boogers all over an official, Claude Giroux once again found a unique way to be a troll on the ice. His latest stunt involves him chewing on an opponent's jersey for no apparent reason. Pretty funny, but probably not a smart move if you're trying to avoid mumps.

Lovely Lady of the Day

Paulina Gretzky -- daughter of Wayne, fiancée of Dustin Johnson, and relentless Internet sensation -- celebrates her 26th birthday today, so she's a very deserving choice for LLOD honors. I didn't get her a birthday gift, but she'll be receiving a wonderful present soon when she gives birth to her & Dustin's first child together. (Click here for full-sized gallery)

Great Night for the Jags

It's been a rough season for the Jacksonville Jaguars but that didn't stop them from getting very, very excited after last night's victory -- their third of the year -- on Thursday Night Football against the Titans. It was an especially great night for defensive tackle Sen'Derrick Marks, who recorded a late-game sack to activate a $600,000 bonus in his contract, which he appropriately celebrated by doing Johnny Manziel's money fingers. After the game, Marks treated his teammates to a night out on the town and picked up what I'm going to assume was a pretty hefty tab.

Newspapers Don't Have Poop Emojis

Phil vs. Chuck

It seems that Phil Jackson was not impressed with Charles Barkley's commentary during last night's Knicks-Bulls game.

Manny Being Manny

Manny Ramirez -- owner of one of the most powerful swings in baseball history -- decided to try his hand at golf a few weeks ago. His success at the plate is not exactly translating to the fairway.

Invasion of Personal Space

Wesley Matthews wasn't quite comfortable with how close a referee got to him last night.

Odds & Ends

This is what happens when you're TOO athletic...Deion Sanders and Rich Eisen practiced their golf game by driving balls over the Thursday Night Football crowd in Jacksonville...Vin Scully briefly lost his World Series ring at Costco...The Canadiens honored longtime captain Saku Koivu with an emotional ceremony in Montreal...Dwight King scored a goal on Martin Brodeur from center ice...A soccer player in Kuwait resorted to sticking a finger up an opponent's bum to gain an advantage in psychological warfare...Blues defenseman Barret Jackman is both a fighter AND a lover....A new trailer for Clint Eastwood's "American Sniper" was released yesterday and I am very, very excited for the movie...HBO has ordered a comedy pilot from Sarah Silverman.

Don't Believe The Hype?

Earlier this year, Darko Milicic decided to give up on basketball and start a career in kickboxing. He now has a hype video.
