Minor league hockey team wearing The Hobbit jerseys

The final film of The Hobbit trilogy hit theaters in December, bringing an end to Peter Jackson's run through J.R.R. Tolkien's Middle Earth. To celebrate these cinematic achievements, the Bakersfield Condors will wear jerseys inspired by the movies.

This is not the Condors' first experience with novelty jerseys, as the team also donned sweaters designed to look like the famed "Puffy Shirt" from Seinfeld for a theme night honoring the sitcom.
If you would like one of these jerseys, they are being auctioned off for charity following the game on December 27.
