Drew Brees' lonely, non-playoffs breakfast plate is pretty sad

New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees has a lot of time on his hands at the moment, seeing as he and his team were not good enough to make it out of the lowly NFC South.

As we all know, it's easy to go a little crazy when you have too much time and nothing to do. Apparently Brees has hit that breaking point already.

Brees posted a picture of his breakfast on Monday morning on Twitter and, well, it's a little sad that he's so excited about ... that. This is what happens when football gets taken away from a star quarterback so suddenly.

At the moment, Brees probably does think this is the most awesome thing that he has ever seen. But he should also use his picture as motivation to get his team back to the playoffs next year.

All he has to do is look at what he has on his plate and remember he'd much rather be prepping for a playoff opponent than tweeting about his breakfast.
