The Ohio State and Oregon football teams got a nice surprise on Saturday when their players received pairs of Beats by Dre headphones. The Buckeyes even had theirs donated by Cleveland Cavaliers forward and noted Ohio State fan LeBron James.
Ohio State coach Urban Meyer first tweeted a picture of the new headphones to thank James.
Not surprisingly, the OSU players and other coaches were really excited:
"LeBron helped facilitate the connection with Beats by Dre," an Ohio State spokesperson told cleveland.com. "The headphones were donated to Ohio State and were distributed within the permissible NCAA limitations on awards."
Apparently not wanting to suggest any favoritism, Beats also gave some headphones to the Ducks:

According to cleveland.com, the headphones retail for $299.99.
Ohio State plays Oregon in first ever College Football Playoff national championship game on Monday.
