Staten Island Yankees remind fans that baseballs are "never deflated"

The New York Yankees single-A affiliate Staten Island Yankees are getting in on everyone's favorite topic with a tweet about the New England Patriots football deflation scandal.

While it is true that you cannot deflate a baseball, there is a pretty storied tradition of doctoring baseballs for a competitive advantage.

Sports Illustrated's own Jay Jaffe wrote extensively on the subject of "juiced" baseballs being used to increase home run numbers in Japan, and how it may have happened here in the MLB as well.
