Nationals send young Tyler Clippard fans gift packages after trade

The Washington Nationals traded relief pitcher Tyler Clippard to the Oakland A's for shortstop Yunel Escobar last week, and fans young and old were saddened by the move.
So many were upset with the trade that The Washington Post wrote a story about the bummed out fans, and the team reacted to the story by sending some pretty amazing gift packages to a few of those affected.

Eight young fans got hauls that include a signed Ryan Zimmerman ball, a Jayson Werth jersey and a Wilson Ramos bobblehead, among other team gear, and a handwritten note from the team, according to the newspaper.

While it will be hard to replace Clippard's awesome goggles in fans hearts, this is certainly an awesome way to start.
