Reporter has no idea he's interviewing legendary Liverpool goalkeeper

Post by BBC North West Tonight.

Liverpool and Everton face off on Saturday in the latest edition of the Merseyside derby, so the BBC went out on the streets of Liverpool to ask people for their memories of past derbies.

The reporter approached an old man and asked if he remembered the 1967 derby, in the FA Cup fifth round.

"I do, I played in it," he replied. "I was the goalkeeper for Liverpool."

The reporter had no idea the man he was interviewing was Tommy "The Flying Pig" Lawrence, who made 306 appearances in goal for the Reds between 1957 and 1971.

He looks absolutely thrilled.
