One might assume that transitioning into the broadcaster's chair for ESPN might assuage Bob Knight's intensity, but the 74-year-old proved otherwise while broadcasting Thursday's SMU-Temple game.

Bob Knight was known for his fiery temper during his legendary (and controversial) coaching career. In fact, that temper helped end his tenure at Indiana when he got physical with a player during a practice.

One might assume that transitioning into the broadcaster's chair for ESPN might subdue Knight's intensity, but the 74-year-old proved otherwise while broadcasting Thursday's SMU-Temple game, repeatedly yelling at a group of fans to sit down because they were obstructing his view.

Yeesh. Perhaps it was a bit inconsiderate on the part of the unseen fans to block Knight's view, but this type of thing has to happen to broadcasters all the time, and you'll never hear one lash out like this, at least not live on the air.

The fans in question are never shown by ESPN, but we have to assume they listened to Knight's orders. After all, getting yelled at by Bobby Knight has to be among the most terrifying things that could happen to an unsuspecting spectator at a basketball game.
