Braves throw no-hitter in 10 innings, still only manage a tie

The Braves threw a combined no-hitter in 10 innings at spring training, and it still wasn't enough to come away with a win.

Even though it's only spring training, nine Atlanta Braves pitchers were part of something on Sunday that most players will only dream of: a no-hitter.

Nine Atlanta pitchers combined to keep the Houston Astros' bats hitless through 10 innings. Typically this would be enough to walk away with a "W," but this is spring training — home of all sorts of strange occurrences, such as a man turning himself into a living Yasiel Puig bobblehead

The Indians will make fun of you if you criticize a spring training lineup

So despite being no-hit, the Astros still managed to scrape across two runs after loading the bases on two walks and a hit-by-pitch. And since this is March baseball, the game ended in a 10-inning, 2-2 tie.

In all, Atlanta walked nine batters, which is a good reminder that these teams are still shaking off a lot of rust.
