Red Sox affiliate to wear Parrothead jerseys for Jimmy Buffett Night
The Boston Red Sox Class A affiliate Lowell Spinners continued the fun minor league baseball teams have had with alternate uniforms when they unveiled the jerseys the team will wear for Jimmy Buffett Night.
The jerseys feature a large parrot on the front, which is a nod to Buffett's fans, who are known as "Parrotheads." There is a palm tree on the back.
The first 1,000 fans through the gate on the night of the promotion will receive a replica jersey, and the team will hold a charity auction for the on-field versions.

The team has many themed nights planned, including Star Wars Day, Princess Night and Super Hero Day.
Jimmy Buffett Night will take place on Aug 6.
