Roxanne Chalifoux, better known as the crying Villanova piccolo girl, has been the meme of March Madness so far, as she struggled to play along with the band while the one-seeded Wildcats fell in the second round to NC State.

Since rising to internet fame, she has gotten to appear on The Tonight Show and countless highlight shows, but here at Sports Illustrated, we were truly ahead of the trend, as Chalifoux appeared in the March 16, 2015, NCAA tournament preview issue.
