Northwestern celebrates too much during scrimmage, gets flagged
Northwestern got too excited for a touchdown during spring practice and got flagged.

Northwestern held its final practice of the spring on Saturday, which included a brief scrimmage, and the Wildcats ended up getting a tad too excited.
After receiver Andrew Scanlan caught a long pass and spun his way into the end zone, he and his teammates rejoiced a little too long. An official threw a flag, drawing a 15-yard penalty.

While losing yardage is never a good thing, Northwestern's enthusiasm for a scrimmage in April has to be an encouraging sign.
