Davidson employee overrun with phone calls for Stephen Curry
If you are looking to get in touch with Stephen Curry these days, please do not call Joey Beeler.
Beeler is the sports information director for the Davidson basketball team and he has gotten a deluge of calls for the point guard since the playoffs began, with the problem growing so severe once the Finals began, he had to change his number.
The Charlotte Observer reports that after months of slowly increasing requests for the MVP, Beeler got 23 phone calls on Monday before finally breaking down and having his number changed, all thanks to a Yahoo! Answers entry that directs fans to his predecessor's phone number if they are looking to get in touch with Curry.
