In the alternate reality where Snoop Dogg is commissioner of baseball, MLB hit king Pete Rose would be in the Hall of Fame.

Snoop was playing in the celebrity softball game at All-Star Weekend in Cincinnati when CBS asked him if he thought Pete Rose deserved a spot in the Hall, despite all the controversy surrounding him.

“Oh yeah, definitely.” Snoop replied. “Charlie Hustle? I grew up loving Pete Rose. He’s one of the greatest baseball players to ever do it.”

Of course, Rose has admitted to gambling on baseball games while he managed the Reds, including betting on his own team, and was handed a lifetime ban from baseball that made him ineligible for induction in the Hall. He will be present for the All-Star festivities in Cincinnati, though.

Snoop is no stranger to gambling himself. Back in 2011, he won $20,000 from UFC president Dana White in a bet on the NBA Finals. In 2013, he posted a photo on Instagram where he held a giant bag of marijuana he said he won in a bet on a Floyd Mayweather fight.
