The guy who destroyed ‘hitchBOT’ was wearing a Randall Cunningham jersey

Video has emerged of the man who destroyed “hitchBOT,” the Canadian robot hitchhiking across the United States. It looks like he’s an Eagles fan, which is strange because Philadelphia sports fans have a great reputation.
HitchBOT met his demise in Philadelphia over the weekend and it certainly appears his assailant was wearing a Randall Cunningham throwback jersey. It’s a dark No. 12 jersey and the name looks like the right number of characters, but it’s tough to say for certain.
The video’s pretty grainy, but we see the attacker and the fateful stomps that doomed the robot’s cross-country journey.
And here’s what the robot looked like after faux-Cunningham got done with him:

This shouldn’t really come as a surprise—Cunningham was pretty skilled with his feet.
