The Senior League World Series was held in Bangor, Maine, this month, and some foggy weather held up one of the game’s start time, so the grounds crew resorted to some unconventional, and ineffective, measures to try to clear the field.

While the workers get points for creative thinking, the field does not seem to be any less foggy thanks to their golf-cart-and umbrella-aided cleaning plan.

The Senior League division is an extension of Little League for kids between the ages of 13-16 and culminates in the Senior League World Series, which was won for the second consecutive year by the team out of West University Place, Texas, according to the Bangor Daily News.
