The cameraman who bulldozed Usain Bolt with his Segway says he apologized immediately following the collision, and that he’s ready to return to work.

In an interview with the Guardian, Song Tao, a cameraman for CCTV, said that he escaped without injury and is glad Bolt is in the same condition.

“The important thing is that he is OK,” Tao said through a translator. “I’m fine and ready to get back to work.”

After the race, Tao gave Bolt a good luck charm to wear on his wrist, and shook hands with the five-time IAAF World Athlete of the Year.

Bolt is scheduled to run in the 4x100m relay on Saturday with the Jamaican team. All eyes will be on his right wrist.
