Watch: Mets SP Bartolo Colon parades around with buckets of bubblegum

Watch as the New York Mets fan favorite hands out bubblegum in the dugout.

Have you ever rode the subway and encountered a candy salesman with five separate boxes stuck together with plastic wrap?

That was Bartolo Colon in the New York Mets’ dugout Friday night.

The 42-year-old righthander paraded around the dugout during the team’s 5–1 victory at Atlanta armed with three buckets of bubblegum.

While Noah Syndergaard happily accepted some free Dubble Bubble, at least one Mets player wasn’t pleased with Colon’s friendly service.

The Mets are leading the NL East at 80–61. So grab a handful of bubble gum and throw it in someone’s face.
