Cubs Fans Are Getting Serious
The Cubs look like they will be heading to the playoffs this season, and fans are desperate to make sure any remnants of the famed Billy Goat Curse are gone, so local restaurant Taco in a Bag called in competitive eater Takeru Kobayashi and three friends to eat a 40 pound goat in just 12 minutes.
QB Competition in Dallas
The Dallas Cowboys will be without quarterback Tony Romo for a good portion of the season. While the team does currently have Brandon "God forbid I am forced to play" Weeden penciled in as the starter for now, the Cowboys traded for perennially acceptable backup Matt Cassel to shore up its suddenly shaky position. The trade developed soon after Cowboys owner Jerry Jones praised Weeden, stating that "you won’t see a more gifted passer, power, accuracy, the entire aspect of it."
Are You Kidding?
Bayern Munich's Robert Lewandowski entered Tuesday's game vs. Wolfsburg as a substitute and rattled off five goals in eight minutes, 59 seconds.

The Shedd Aquarium and the Columbus Zoo brought a host of animals to Wrigley Field before the Cubs' game against the Brewers on Tuesday. A flamingo even attended Joe Maddon's press conference.
