Blue Jays’ Kevin Pillar helped a fan get engaged before Game 1

While most Blue Jays fans were not thrilled with the outcome of Game 1 of the team’s ALDS series against the Astros, at least one pair of fans are smiling despite the 5–3 loss, after getting engaged with some help from outfielder Kevin Pillar.
The fan got a picture with Pillar holding a sign that read, “Dear Katie, Will you marry this guy?” that he used to propose to his girlfriend.

In addition to helping with proposals, Pillar also found time to hit an RBI double in the ALDS opener on Thursday.
