The Bruins visited a children’s hospital in Minions costumes

The Bruins got in the Halloween spirit Tuesday and visited Boston Children’s Hospital while dressed as the titular characters from the Minions movie.

It was the logical costume choice, considering B’s captain Zdeno Chara looks just like Gru, the minions’ master. Not only is Chara taller than all the guys in yellow, but also he bears a striking resemblance facially.

The players took plenty of photos with fans. Here’s forward Jimmy Hayes, who either stuffed something in his shirt or just looks thinner in pads.

A few other Bruins players did some community service around Boston on Tuesday, but wore more familiar outfits.
