It's Throwback Thursday and Ahmad Rashad's birthday. Tiffany and I spent some time digging around YouTube for something involving Rashad and early '90s NBA. To say we were pleased when we came across this clip from 1992 of Rashad and Shaquille O'Neal playing one-on-one would be an understatement, especially when Shaq destroyed a defenseless basket.
Battle of the Really Big Men
Central Florida and UC Irvine faced off Wednesday night, which meant 7-foot-6 centers Tacko Fall (UCF) and Mamadou Ndiaye (UC-Irvine) went head-to-head in the tallest battle in college hoops history. Ndiaye's Anteaters earned a 61-60 victory but Fall scored a moral victory with this shot block. If only we could get these two to go grocey shopping. That would be funny.
Gregg Popovich High School?
A San Antonio resident started a petition to change the name of the city's Robert E. Lee High School to Gregg Popovich High School. Pop hates the idea.
