Blackhawks fans go all out for Christmas light display

Some Blackhawks fans in the suburbs of Chicago decided to celebrate the team with their Christmas light display this year, unleashing a synchronized audio/visual experience that includes goal horns and LED Stanley Cups.

The Larsen family of Elburn, Ill., puts on a big lights show every year, and decided to honor the Blackhawks for winning the 2015 Stanley Cup with a display filled with holiday cheer and some Ted Nugent.

The family’s YouTube page says the programming of this year’s display took over 80 hours, and the light show runs from Thanksgiving through New Year’s Day. Let’s hope their neighbors are as enthusiastic about hockey, or at least own some blackout curtains.
