Even powerful members of the government hate Jonathan Papelbon. 

During an interview Tuesday morning at a Politico event, Kentucky senator Mitch McConnell was asked for his thoughts on the upcoming Nationals season. He wasn’t afraid of mincing his words and made it very clear that Papelbon has worn out his welcome in Washington after wringing Bryce Harper’s neck.

If only it were that easy, Senator. It seems Papelbon’s outburst has made it tough for the Nats to move him. “You can't trade him. He's untradeable,” an anonymous executive told CBSSports.com’s Jon Heyman last month.
