After Christian McCaffrey racked up 368 all-purpose yards against Iowa in Stanford’s blowout win in the Rose Bowl, a Stanford fan took it upon himself to do some belated, unsolicited Heisman campaigning for the Cardinal running back.

The vine of the supporter’s videobombing went viral and inspired Ohio State basketball coach Thad Matta to stump for Marc Loving to win the trophy for the nation’s top college football player.

Twenty-seven points and seven rebounds is an impressive line, but a basketball player is going to have to do a lot more than that before he is considered by the Heisman voters. Maybe Matta can talk to Urban Meyer about getting Loving a few more carries next season.
