Nobody showed up to protest Beyoncé’s halftime show

Beyoncé performed at halftime of Super Bowl 50 over a week ago and most people liked it because most people like Beyoncé. But some people got mad because they felt like the performance was overly political.

This feeling was crystallized in a protest organized for Tuesday in front of the NFL offices in New York, which drew a lot of media coverage. However it appears the interest in the protest was overstated and no one was actually mad at the singer all along, as mostly just media and pro-Beyoncé counter-protestors showed up.

Deadspin points out that the protest was likely never real to begin with, but there are still a lot of cameras out in front of the building, so if you want some attention, head down to the NFL offices and say you don’t like Beyoncé.
