The government won’t let Yasiel Puig fly to games in a helicopter

Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig drew the ire of former manager Don Mattingly by showing up late to games on occasion, so he came up with a traffic-proof way to get to work.
Alex Vega, the guy responsible for customizing Yoenis Cespedes’s flashy cars, told TMZ this week that Puig was buying a helicopter to bypass the choked L.A. freeways.
There’s just one problem.
The Dodgers have told Yasiel Puig he can not, theoretically, fly a helicopter to Dodger Stadium. Federal law prohibits it, the FAA says.

Leaving early for work is the worst, so Puig had better hope new manager Dave Roberts isn’t as strict as Mattingly.
