Roberto Luongo had the night off so he ate three hot dogs between periods

If Panthers goalie Al Montoya got hurt during the third period of Tuesday’s game against the Canadiens, Roberto Luongo might not have performed too well in relief.

If Panthers goalie Al Montoya got hurt during the third period of Tuesday’s game against the Canadiens, Roberto Luongo might not have performed too well in relief. 

Luongo said on his not-so-secret Twitter account that he scarfed down three hot dogs during the second intermission, and also reignited the internet’s favorite debate. 

Is 3 hot dogs after the 2nd period last night in Montreal a sandwich???

Given his history of in-game gastrointestinal distress, Luongo better be careful what he eats.
