The Vancouver Whitecaps are the victim of a very strange theft.
On Monday night, some scoundrel broke into the team’s training facility and left with the players’ shoes. Tuesday morning, the Whitecaps realized what had happened. And their coach Carl Robinson is pleading for the thief to return the shoes to their rightful owners:

Look at the lengths Robinson is willing to go to for these shoes. “If you want boots, I’ll buy you boots.” Is this how they handle hostage situations in Canada? By giving the criminal everything they want?
• Jim Nantz is extremely serious about his toast, like too serious
In all honesty, this is a pretty sad situation. Whoever lifted the boots—we know you read Extra Mustard—do the right thing and give them back. At the very least, you’ll score some fresh kicks.
