Watch: Daughter of Stars’ Patrick Sharp is excited for him to get home

Dallas Stars’ Patrick Sharp shares an adorable video of his daughter watching him on TV.

The Stars are headed back to Dallas with their second-round series against the Blues tied at two games a piece, and Patrick Sharp has at least one very excited fan waiting there for him.

The forward scored a goal and assisted on the overtime game-winner Thursday night, earning him a post game interview, much to the delight of his daughter Sadie, who was watching from home in Texas and eagerly awaiting her father’s return.

His daughter cheered and excitedly asked, “He’s coming home?” as Sharp, who won three Stanley Cups in his time with the Blackhawks, speaks on the television.

The Stars and Blues will play Game 5 in Dallas on Saturday.
